In 2003, the Olathe GIS Division received the Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) award from Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI). (City of Olathe SAG award page)
Through this web site, users can view information about the City of Olathe, including detailed information about public and private property and elements of the city infrastructure. The interactive mapping applications can be used to view and create custom maps based on spatial information provided by the Olathe GIS Division and Johnson County's Automated Information Mapping System (AIMS). These map products can be viewed, printed, or downloaded by citizens and other users. Use of this information is subject to the guidelines described in the accompanying Terms of Use statement.
Walking and Crossing Guard Maps as well as Aerial Photograph Maps for Parking and Student Drop-off and Pick-Up for individual elementary schools are available on the Static Maps page.
All Services (REPORT) This report takes the user entered address and returns nearly 50 pieces of information about schools, utilities and various government departments.
Subdivision & Zoning Lookup (REPORT) This report displays subdivision and zoning information about the particular address that is entered. Information displayed includes the 'complete and correct' address stored in the database, the subdivision, zoning, plat and PID (parcel ID number) - all pertaining to the address being displayed. This search is setup in a way that more than one address can be returned by the search, depending upon how much information is entered by the user.
Sign Permit Lookup (REPORT) This report displays sign permit information about the particular address, or permit number, that is entered. This search is setup in a way that more than one address can be returned by the search, depending upon how much information is entered by the user.
